For those who don't know, I have been working on some other projects, not particularly Quake-related, on my blog. The blog is called games fascination, and it has everything related to games, from my own game development experiences and releases, to game industry news and design. I recently finished version 1.2 of one project, Orb-7, and Scorch Marks is always in progress when I'm not taking a break for something else. Check it out!

This time it's just a little bit of tweaking to make stuff more clear for the user. You can get Terraingen v1.41 here. Here's a screenshot out of a map editor, showing the result of a .pgm grayscale image converted to a terrain by TerrainGen (the geometry is scaled up, so it could be smoother):

Hey guys, just a quick one today. Long time no see, though, huh? There's a new release of Vr2, just to get it out the door It's got support for corona options from .rtlights files, added coronas menu option, and a slight optimization in rare cases. You can get it right here. Have fun!

Wait, another TerrainGen update? Oh yes. The last one was mostly bugfixing, but now I've added a rather cool new feature: generating terrains from .pgm grayscale image files. Now you can do interesting stuff like this test I did: You can pick up a copy here. Have fun!
